The X pipe for sure.More HP gain and alot better sound.

Id say X-Pipe as well.

I agree.Just put in a K&N filter and remove the silencer.

X Pipe

If you're primarily concerned about show competition, get the Densecharger (a pretty piece of stainless underneath the car will net you exactly Zero points in a judged bling, prep and paint show).

Otherwise, go with the X (though if you keep your car legal, it will cost twice as much as the CAI).

I was goin to just drop in a k & n filter, But The desencharger i saw is a big "plastic" pipe with a big green filter, I was told at a shop that it gives out 8-12 hp PROVEN! So its not some metal pipe that attracts heat! For $149 bucks, so I was just wondering.. And does the x pipe change the exhaust sound much? Does it make it louder, deeper? What??? Does removing the air silencer, DO ANYTHING??

Bassani for teh WIN :D

I have the same exhaust setup with only a k&n filter an a tune and im making 246hp 285 tq ;) you probably wont see those numbers with a CAI

You will be alot happier with the X pipe.It will really wake up your catback.

Yea, should i get aluminized or SS?? They both have the same warranty!

ColoradoStang 08-28-2005 12:10 PM

isnt ss more? if not i'd go ss for durability

04SVTDRIVER 08-28-2005 12:13 PM

Def the X pipe sexier sound and more power.

Lances03SVT 08-28-2005 01:42 PM

Depends on your weather there.

StangGT804 08-28-2005 06:00 PM

Yea for durabilty, im going to go with SS X! I cant wait, to hear the sound increase even more! I drool everytime i turn the car on!!! lol

Lances03SVT 08-28-2005 06:57 PM

Yep but hard throttle takeoffs just to hear the exhaust is very addicting :)

StangGT804 08-28-2005 07:08 PM

So is the x pipe going to change the sound or just make the sound louder???

OFFdutyHERO 08-28-2005 09:56 PM

I have full exhaust and I felt a big difference when I put the x pipe on my stang I have now and the v6 I sold before this one. And yes it does give a different tone, and a little more grumble at idle.

StangGT804 08-29-2005 08:39 AM

Bassani x pipe HERE I COME!!! lol In a couple of weeks anyway! Ima try and get a vid clip of my exhaust system!! Think my friend has a good video camera that i can use!

madmatt 08-29-2005 08:56 AM

Def get the stainless x for va weather. Also, yes, it will change the tone. Should get a lot deeper down low, but it will be louder too. Will love it .

StangGT804 08-29-2005 09:08 AM

Does anyone know how much gain from an x pipe! Is it in the double digit area?
