Good price for a Salvage GT??
I know someone who is selling a 2000 gt with 100,000 miles on it for 3600. it has a salvage title but runs real good stilll.I think its an ok deal ,what do you all think?

3600 bucks and plan on a new motor if he's beat on it. 100k isn't even a lot of miles for these cars but they do manage to stack up the wear and tear if they're abused. The price is generally bitchin for a running GT. Salvage title worth is up to you.

he said that the motor was not even touched when it was wrecked before.i went to drive it earlier and i dont know how it supposed to feel because ive never driven one before, ive only had v6s lol. im thinking hard about it because im ready to has some kind of power in a car

If it was closer i actually would. But 2 hours to drive a car nty :P Just make sure before you buy it you run the engine, pop the hood listen for anything that sounds off, make sure it idles and revs smooth. Check all the bumpers to make sure none are loose, and check for leaks on the undercarriage.

I don't know about there, but here you can take the car to get tested and it will tell you how much life it has left and whatever else. I don't know what it's called or anything, but they wanted me to do that when I was getting my Mustang, because I got it for a good deal. My car is perfectly fine, if not better.

i went to drive it again on the freeway, mann it was a beast!! i got it up to about 120 and it ran perfectly. hopefully everything goes right tomorrow and i can get it. oh and no leaks, sounds good,no lights are on.hopefully it wasnt rigged for the test drive.

man the guy sold the car already. sucks. i found another salvage gt right by where i stay.the guy wants 3600 for it and it has 100,000 miles too like the other one, this one has the hood a little cracked but not really anything, the inside is kinda dirty but not a problem and the front bumper doesnt look on right for some reason. i tried it already and it felt strong but after i hauled *** in it on the freeway i noticed a little smell of gas,do you think this is just from maybe sitting around for a long time or do you think this could be a serious problem?

man i dont know if i should take the chance at getting this car. ive always wanted a gt but i would be selling my v6 which is my only car and if this gt breaks down i dont have the cash to fix it. im just having trouble because i think its a good deal if the car wont mess up on me.
