Default Head Job !!!

I knew you bunch of "perbs" could'nt resist. The Nov. issure of MM&FF has a great articile on the new Trick Flow heads.

In a nut shell these heads have 30 to 35 rwhp over a set of PORTED stock heads and 60 to 65 over a set of BONE stock heads! Can I get an "AMEN" on that.

What is that I smell............400 n/a rwhp? Could be????

For Sale:
One, four year old grandson. Perfect condition, has some selective hearing lost and can hit the toilet about half the time. Still yells Paw Paw "I'm Done"

Asking $2000.00 or will trade for New set of cyliner heads!
Call BR-549

the motor they were tested on had 10.4-1 compression. the numbers are a bit inflated because of that bump as well. the heads produce but i would to see what they make on a stock set up instead of a heavily modified engine.

They used the same set of Anderson cams for all the test.

The bump in compression came from the 38cc heads vs the older 40 something cc heads. I dont think you would see anywhere close to these numbers on a bone stock motor. With the increased flow numbers on these heads, you have to be able to get more air to the heads and get that air out of it when the job is done. Putting these heads on a bone stock motor is like sex without orgasm "Waste of time and effort"

Well I almost have enough cash for long tubes, then I'm getting those heads and a new dynotune from VMPtuning. If I get this raise that I hopefully will have, then I will be doing this next spring. Wish they had some numbers already on a stock shortblock.

Now if only they had some good 3v heads out like that and maybe a good 3v intake that we arent constantly "waiting" to come out. Ford has a 3v intake "coming out" and C&L has a 3v intake that's being "revised". The 3v has been out for how long now? Too bad someone isnt making a 3v super head...oh well...maybe next year..

Yeah the shop that is doing my motor job finally got the 5 sets of trickflow heads that they ordered in like 3 weeks ago. Hopefully I can get the car back in a couple weeks now that everything is in. Stoked to see what kind of power I make with this set up...alot of money has been thrown into this project and I hope to have one of on my face
