Well, I value your input on our packing job on the springs. I was not aware on how they were being packed, so this gives me some insight as to what needs to change down in shipping. Part of the problem is that the manufacturer of the springs sends us them in a big giant box with all of the springs touching each other. It sounds like I need to have them change their packing ways because of the scratching and chipping on the springs. As far as the stem caps go, I could have sworn I sent those to you. PM me your info, ill get a set next dayed to you.

Tell ya what, the springs are all ugly as hell. Still cant wait to put em in so i can tear my new chin spoiler off the first time i pull into my driveway.
im 3/4 of an inch lower than you with MT springs, and 2 feet lower than you with stock springs and im perfectly fine...

Anyways, yeah, so my driveway doesent exactly have a graceful slope up which is my biggest problem, im probably going to have to rent a jackhammer and re-do the entrance to my driveway and make it a little bit more gentle.
Is your driveway angle worse than mine?

I scrape on my driveway but not that bad...also, I've never really tried but can you even see the springs after they are installed. Who cares if they are chipped, I can understand about the chin spoiler but not the springs, and when you spend a whole 140.00 on springs you can't expect much.

I saved some money on my springs and only bought 2 for the front. I grabbed a fat lady off the street taped her up and gagged her and stuffed her in my trunk... lowered my *** 1-1/2 inchez.

Hey, we get snow every now and then...it's usually gone pretty quick, but it's funny to watch some of these people try to drive in it

I just talked to the shipping guys and have a new method for packing the springs, HOWEVER, I feel most of the "scuffs and scratches" you refer to actually are the way they come to us. They shipped them to us in two giant pallet sized boxes with no packaging material between the springs. They have some areas with paint scuffed off on them, etc etc...

I'm curious how bad yours look? They probably don't look much worse if at all from the way they arrive at our dock.

Of course, all of this doesn't matter once they are installed. These springs will be black with road dirt after about 10 days of driving. Ever install a set of springs before?

=)

The CAI I just got was packed the exact same way you describe your springs were. Just brown paper bags, it would seem thats there default packing material for all larger items. Pretty sad.

Edit: And my eibach pro-kit springs are still very blue after almost three months of of use. :P Same for the Tokico shocks.

My H&R Sport springs still have all the paint on them after a year and a half.
