Default Modular Mustang Racing

I did some searching on this board and didnt find much on these guys, what I did find seemed positive. The posts were pretty old so I figured I'd open up a new thread and see if anyone has ACTUAL experience with these guys and whether it was good or bad.

So anyone actually had modular mustang racing build them an engine and do they do good work? Thanks guys!

Talk to R3DN3CK, he had his engine assembled by them and had good experiences I believe.

Great thanks, that gives me somewhere to start.

On a side note I just listened to you car, man those flowmasters sound good. I may have missed it but which model of Flows are those? I need to quite my car down, at 600HP it's WAYYYY too loud... I'd like to be able to hear my stereo too...only have 1000 watts and all I get is bass and highs because the engine drowns out the mids....

Do alot of research on MMR there are a ton of threads on them. I will leave it at that since technically my info is not on my car and thats what you asked for.

Too be honest, I'm not sure. They were on the car when I got it. They are loud though inside the car. I have to turn my stereo up loud to hear it. Doesn't help either that I now have the mufflers dumped.

It seems that everything I read is positive about MMR and there are quite a few people who have their engines and they are pretty happy with them. I am trying to get a new perspective on them and make sure nothings changed as a lot of these older threads are for 2007 or older and it's been a few years so the same people probably arent there building the engines. So far so good!

Just wanted to follow up with an update. I decided on having HP performance of Jacksonville, Florida so my buildup. They are doing an aluminum block, side bolts, windage tray, 7qt racing oil pan, arp 2000 bolts, 3v head studs, manley pistons, manley rods and a cobra crank with all the parts necessary to make that work for $4450. I'm getting ported and polished stage III heads from them for around $2400: manely steel valves, comp cams beehive springs, steel retainers, 5 angle valve job and bronzed hardened various parts. They're getting me a stage II comp cams supercharger cam for around $599. So all in all I'm saving a lot of money by going through them, around $2000 versus MMR.

I'm going to be around 700RWHP now and I'm on to gathering the parts for the read end as I'm sure it will not hold up to that for long.
