Default Modular PowerHouse Poor Customer Service

I ordered my anderson power pipe and vortech mini race valve from a guy that has his car at MPH. This was a week ago that I ordered it. Im putting my kit together this weekend, and I have called MPH Several times to see the status of when this will be taken off of his car, with this in mind only takes 5 min to loosen the rubber tightiner, and pull the pipes off and hand it to the receptionist to ship out to me.

I call again today because i was promised that it would go out today, monday and when i call rhonda there told me that we have 30 cars to be worked on and are backed up and wont be taken off till next week. I told her that i was promised by her and tim that it would go out today. She told me "well I guess you dont have 30 cars to work on." I calmly told her that I dont appreciate her sarcasim, and If you promise someone somthing you do it, Its called good customer service, loayty, and integrity. Its part of running a business, and told her that if you are that far behind, its called dont take more cars in to try and finish by the end of the week. She was silent and did not say anything, so then i told her, lets make a deal here, talk to tim or andy there, get to me today and let me know when it can be taken off and sent to me by the end of the week. She sighed, and said we are backed up, I said, I paid for a product and was promised to get my product by a certain time.

Overall there customer service sucks and need to learn how to plan accordingly as well as being organized.

I don't think Modular Powerhouse is completely at fault here. I think MPH is doing their customer a favor to take off, package, and ship a part to someone else. MPH is not profitting from this and they are very busy taking care of their own customers.

also he is paying them, and also he is paying them to put his new crap on his car. And a promise is a promise. If you cant guarantee something, dont say we promise it will go out on Monday. Thats why when you call MT or email, they wont promise something unless they know it will go out on time. Now if shipping screws up, thats UPS or Fed_ex fault.

Well, it looks like they are learning from your situation and will handle this differently in the future:

Impressive that you got them to change their company policy.

HOWEVER,

If i get word from Modularpowerhouse that they wish to have this thread closed, it will be. Im not going to support bashing other companies, even if they did/didnt deserve it, even if this is in Smack Talk. Its just professional "niceness."

So did it get taken of?

Tim Barth is currently running between 2 locations right now(they bought another Mustang shop 2-3 weeks ago) and things have been a little scattered during the process but he has everything organized now. If this is still an issue then I suggest you call 770-591-0000 and ask to talk specifically to Tim. He will take car of you. I have been a customer of Tim's since day one and I can verify that he goes way out of his way to keep customers happy. I hate that you didn't get your pipe exactly when they said you should get it but I think this is an isolated incident and it's NOT indicative of their service typically.
