Default Trick Flow 2V heads ?

Has anyone heard anything more about what's happening with these? I've been watching the projected ship date get pushed back several times now on Summit's web site. Just wondering if any of you have ordered these and what you're being told is the holdup.

Is this subject taboo now or something?

I asked a similar question on the Modular Depot forums on which Gregg @ TFS is a member and I can't seem to get a reply there either.

They're shipping out already. Those smart people that ponied up their 50 bucks to get on the list are now getting their phone calls to buy their set, some porting outfits have research samples already and as far as I read on the matter you'll be able to get yours sometime pretty soon. Try ordering through Summit, since they have such a HUGE buying power they'll be among the first to get shipments. TFS is working hard to make sure that only their normal quality product makes it out of the door which is hard to do with people rushing you all the time. They've even developed a nasty little cam for it that's similar to a "stage 2"ish cam but takes full advantage of the newfound flow capacity.

I've seen 4 pairs of them on a pallet on the loading dock of a well known CNC outfit. Shouldn't be long.

EDIT: I seem to recall someone ordering and receiving 2 weeks later their brand new set of TFS heads, so ... off you go. www.summitracing.com

I have to admit, I'm slightly excited about a good 2v head. I am much more likely to go the N/A route than I am power adder or complete swap. I will enjoy hearing about all the power made with these.

Don't forget that Summit also owns TFS.

What are the specs on the motor you're having built? Is it stock stroke? or stroker? aluminum or cast iron block? 4.6 block or new 5.0 Boss block? Also what compresion ratio is it being set for since you're using the KB 2.6?

It's going to be a new 4.6 iron block, blower cams, trick flow heads, compressiong around 9:0:1. The block will be able to handle 900rwhp. I am hoping for 600rwhp through my auto tranny.
