I didn't even know they sold them.
MAC has both headers, H-pipes and thier Pro chamber which is similar to an H-pipe

Nah, BBKS have the dent on the primary, these don't.
Just wish Steeda provided more useful info, like primary size and length. Personally, I'd go w/ a company that has a reputation w/ making good headers. There's too many factors to consider and the fact that Steeda is advertising theirs as flowing better makes me tend to believe they're idiots.

I'm sure they don't make those headers and they just are resold under their name. Just like their catbacks which are really Borla units.
H-pipe is better if you like that old school muscle car sound that seems to be getting lost in the mustang market. Power wise there is very little difference you go by purely on how they sound.

h isn't better than an x. it's actually the other way around normally. X pipes usually make better power all else being equal. The difference is so minor though you should just forget about there being any difference other than sound. On that note:
H-pipes tend to sound more muscular than X pipes. X's tend towards the raspy side... more nascar than muscle car if that makes much sense to you.

The best option as far as power is concerned is the pro-chamber from MAC. It has a larger crossover area than an X pipe. And the NASCAR comment is right on the money. They are a bit higher pitched than an H pipe. I had L.T.'s and a pro-chamber on my old fox body. After working for a MAC dealer for years, I prefer them to BBK exhaust. The bolts like to snap off of the BBK stuff if you have to use an air gun. And the fit seemed better more often with MAC.
