Default Obnoxious squeek

So I just picked up an 04 5speed after wrecking my 02 auto. When I cruise on the express way at 65+ there is a really loud annoying squeeking sound. At first I though it was the shifter but by buddy in the car said it sounded like it was comming fron inside the dash. Any thoughts???

Could be bushings in the suspension or the chassis flexing.

I dont think that its bushings either. It definitely sounds like its comming from inside the car...and its only at 65+mph. wouldnt bushings squeek at all speeds?

Dang....I saw the title of this thread and thought you guys were talkin about my wife's voice for a minute.
My bad.

Seriously tho....the squeak is probably just something with the interior.
Older cars squeak.......it just happens.

Maybe take the dash apart and see if everything is bolted down tight.

Very true. It's a fact I've learned to live with.
