Default pi intake

Will the pi intake for the 99-04 gt fit the 98 gt?

Yes....there are some things you can do to make it easier. It will take a little gasket sealer and stuff. Lots of guys have done that and PI cams...in the 98 with great gains.

YOU MUST GET PI HEADS FOR THE CAR!!!

98 GT's didnt come with PI heads.

With that said, yes, it is pretty simple to put on the new intake.

yes you can get the pi heads, you will need gaskets some differ bolts and some extra little crap. On your car, if you put the pi heads on you will actually have more hp stock compared to a 99-04 due to differ compression ratios. Good buy
and get some pi cams while you have the heads off or get some v1's

ya i just put the pi intake into my 96 gt. do it man you wont regret it.i have heard of around 35 hp gain at redline, for just the intake. havent hit the dyno with mine yet.hope it goes well you'll need new gaskets!

no you don't, i've had just PI intake and PI cams on my stock heads for a year now.

Also on a 98 it's a very easy swap, drain coolant partially, pull intake, swap coolant hoses, RTV, reverse proccess.
On a 96-97 you have to remove the water pump to replace the nipple but other than that it's not bad.
