Default Sorry, exhaust question

Well I've decided to bite the bullet, and intake and exhaust my stang. I'm just getting an OBX Catted H pipe, my question is, will that bolt up to my stock cat back, and from there can I just weld in 40's and get a nice sound? Or is spending the money on a real cat-back suggested?

Thanks,
Sean

Of course. But is that what you wanted to hear? The other way makes sense (if it would work??) To me your mileage is as high as Stephen's insurance haha and I think you should really do what you want.

My car is a baby at 40,000 miles in my mind, and idk what thats got to do with replacing the exhaust. But I might as well do it right, I'm not looking to dump that much money into this car right now.

Hows everyone feel about MAC cat backs? If I shift at 1500rpm at 4:30 in the morning, will my neighbors wake up? Thats what I'm concerned about to be honest lol.

But if you lived next to me, would you want to woken up at 4:30 everyday, except sunday when I leave at 5am? I know I'd loose my sanity if I could sleep in, and some douche bag woke me up at that time on my day off lol

You can run any aftermarket mid pipe that's made for stock or shorty headers with your stock catback. You don't have to run a catback and can just weld up some mufflers in place of the stockers, but then the exhaust goes from a 2.5" H pipe to a 2 1/4" catback, not so great for flow. But its up to you as you can do that and people do.
