Default pulleys

YO i wanted to find out if pulleys do really help alot? cause i heard they do that they aslo suposably give u more gas mileage...? i want to get the steeda pulleys what other pulleys are good? and how much is the installation i heard its about $200 to get installed ...

uhh yes steeda is good, you will get soem gas milage, 7-10 rwhp, and i dont know about install because i had a freind help

You will need an impact wrench,or if your car has a manual transmission,a 1/2 inch breaker bar.Rent or buy a pulley puller with metric bolts.Get some RTV sealer and go to work.March now makes a harmonic balancer crank pulley so Steeda or March would be worth looking at.

pullies are WAY too easy to install to pay a shop to do it.

Just installed mine in under 2 hours I believe, that's with taking breaks Definately get an impact wrench if you can.. they're so helpful either way. And we took the handle off the jackstand and put our socket wrench down in there to help with the crankshaft removal it worked out pretty good.

I had my local Ford dealer install them for $55.00. I think it is waste to try to do yourself for that kind of price.

maybe so.. but me and my dad have enjoyed installing everything on the car so far. plus the local dealership here is full of morons.. everything they've ever done to the car has fked up

I have the ones by SLP. Felt a bit quicker and did notice a bit more gas mileage. i get about 31 on the freeway......easy to install.
