I am going to have my C&L intake plenum very soon and I was just wondering if it made a difference without the T/B or is the T/B important to the gains.

 

Buy the accufab combo instead of peiceing something else togeather. Accufab has been dyno tested to give the most horsepower.

 

I found someone on a forum that I fequent who lives close and offered a new C/L plenum for 120.00...couldn't pass it up.

 

Go with the 70mm accufab, or the 75mm if you plan cams, port job, etc.

I have the C&L and 75 accufab, no problems, good results. With cai, combo and good performance tune, you can pick up 20hp or maybe a little more (some claim a whole lot more - not my experience, though).

Cobras and blown stangs benefit the most.

the money you save is worth the couple extra HP lloss that the accufab brings. Id say go with a plenum as well from somewhere.
