BBK 78MM TB Help
Can any help me with this, I was set to buy a 70MM TB and I saw this on BBK's web sight a couple of weeks ago, now I see AM has it but I'm sure of this note?
NOTE: A 78MM Throttle Body is suggested for a heavily modified GT as a stock and mildly modified GT does not flow enough air to benefit from the larger Throttle Body.
Since I am NOT heavily modified am I going to lose performance with this?
Thank You for your help.....

You will loose a little on the performance side with the 78mm TB on a stock motor but the big draw back is that you will not gain the performance that this part was designed to do. I hope that made sence. These tb's are designed for high flowing setups. I think you should stay with the 70 or 75 tops.

You can tell you need a bigger TB (and probably CAI) if you see vacuum just behind the TB under WOT. If not, then you don't need one and getting one will harm performance in all probability.
I have a 75mm tb on my 5.5 and it's more than enough. For non-supercharged 4.6 2v's 70mm is usually what you should stop at.
