Had my 02 GT for about 3 1/2 years now did all my mods about 2 years ago. My GT has been on the back burner ever since I started getting into sportbikes actually I only put about 1500 miles on the GT a year and was thinking of selling it a few times. Now that I got the bike I want and am happy with it im gonna start modding the stang again. I think I want to get the SLP X pipe w/cats next, my question is will it be any louder than my stock H with my SLP loudmouth I's??? thanks. Oh and I was thinking of cams too. I seen a horsepower tv episode where they put cams in an 02 GT with no tune and pick up 12 horses to the rear, but I can't remember what cams they were.

 

High flow cats like the ones on the SLP pipes will be make the car louder, nothing like an o/r pipe but louder. I have heard the SLP x with cats and LM1 and its not to loud with that combo so go for it.

 

thats the thing I want it loud. I just don't want to be dissapointed when I buy it and put it on.

 

Well it will be louder and trust me I had an o/r pipe with the LM1 it sounded awful and wasn't good to hear at all. Its a good combo with cats and the LM1. Loud but not awful loud.
