Default Steering rack replacement...PS lines

I need to replace my steering rack and wanted to know what is the best way to remove the power steering lines. I have disconnected the rack from the K member before for the LT install, but never removed the PS lines. Does fluid go everywhere? Is there a decent way not to make a mess?
I am sure some of you have done this. Thanks.

First post on Mustangboards.com but I recoknize lots of names from other boards - some of which I haven't seen some people on in a while.

There's no real pressure in the system unless the pump is running and the wheel is turned so other than keeping the mess down... nothing special there. Just turnin wrenches.

As for keeping things un-messy. Good luck. have a rag handy.

Ok. So once the new rack is on, fill reservoir with additional fluid to correct level. Any special air bleeding (though I thought having the car running and turning the wheel left to right a few time would do it).
