Default 04GT vs. 06 STI

Ok, so this weekend it's been too cold here in Va for anyone to be out, well tonight my buddy and I decide to go out "hunting" in the mustang for imports. Well I see a friend in his Lightning, he's talkin to sum guy and a girl in a STI w/ custom paint job, Says the guy is trying to race people tonight....he already ran him and was a close race. So I stopped to get sum food and they asked if I wanted to run...so ok nothing else to do...he agreed on a low 1st gear roll...to benefit my traction with it bein so cold. 1st run i beat him by almost 2 cars, 2nd time the same amount. He wanted to know what was done...I claimed bone stock....in 1st gear and 3rd gear....2nd gear was on the jugg.

............And yes I know from a stop he would ate me up!!!

random, but when you press the nitrous button do you control how much or how long it sprays out.

How much rwhp/rwtq does your car put down when spraying?

LoL way to read 300 hp...

Nice, Fredericksburg huh? damn thats a hop skip and a jump away from me...how come the lightning only barely beat him? STi's are low end cars...I raced my boys WRX when it was stock with my V6 stock and we tied to 100 i actually started pullin a lil ahead at 110...stupid governor...

The way I read it was that 300hp/300trq AWD......so I'm assuming he was talking about the STI....unless mustangs come in AWD now days.

Oh, yeah that STi isn't 300 hp...just under but yeah I get what your saying...

the 06 0-60 in Motor Trend was 4.5 seconds, but the 1/4 mile and top end speeds were much slower...it's a Rally car, not a top end car...

and STI's do come with 300hp stock...and he had to have somethin on there...

so yea if i had spray i would have definatly used that **** because a 250hp or so mustang couldnt beat a 300hp AWD without the juice

jjtgiants, i'm at 270hp/436trq....dont ask me how the torque is insane like that either...thats just what the dyno showed, and you can def. feel it!

Grimmz a WRX is not near as fast as a STi stock for stock! 225hp 2.0L vs. 300hp 2.5L

Heck yea i'm gonna use my spray too i've seen what they do and thats why i took the benefit of running from a low 1st gear roll due to their turbo lag.

I know you said not to ask about the torque, but that's just insane. I've never seen such a difference in HP/trq numbers. I bet you can feel that much torque! ha ha ha
