2000 up wth the 1 bolt tensioner can just re-Route the belt to by-pass the A/C comp clutch so that no delete is needed, just a different belt I believe.
Bill Putnam did a write-up on it way back when, I just dont remember where

uhh.... no AC. The AC compressor is clutched to it's no drag on the motor when the AC is not on.
Deleting it removes 40lbs from the front of your car.

The pump should weigh in at at least 30lbs. The compressor is a heavy bitch... it's basically a block of metal about ( ................................. ) << yay big ... that's gunna be heavy.
10hp is a nice conservative number. I'd estimate at over 2K rpm it would be slightly more. My 71 Lincoln has a little plate on it that says it uses a 15hp AC compressor. It's about identically sized to the one in my stang. Remember... they're pullied just like the alternator, so the faster you try to spin the motor the more drag your AC will put on the motor. At redline it could be worth as much as 20-50hp or more.
