well it seems that the 03-04 cobra motors are becoming more and more scarce so I would start there, try and get ehgine harness and computer with it if possible. Kar Kraft has them sometimes, maybe e-bay if you feel comfortable with that kind of purchase there.....good luck. by the way I think that you will have to get a 03-04 cobra spedo cluster when you switch computers....i think the PATS thing will cause a problem otherwise...

Well, since I don't think there was ever a 2002 Cobra, you really can't make it a clone.........so, you will need to deside if you want a 2003/4 motor, or go with the 1999/01 motor which is n/a. Either way, it will be really hard to find one. I would just leave the motor alone, unless you get lucky.

haha what up tj, i just wanted to give u a hard time since thats all ur hearing lol, umm if u want my input, i say start with the engine and such parts before u just strap a twin turbo onto it, go cams heads and all the more compact engine parts then go with the turbos cuz it will always pay off in the end, now come pick me up cuz my stang dont work right now lol

well, guys if you think about it, he can use an assortment of engines, it doesnt have to be just from a cobra. he can use the mark VIII engines as well. or any other ford car/truck (??) that has a 32v dohc 4.6

i like that idea, but his plans are a twin turbo down the road i think, hes my buddy so i think thats right, as of now, lets change his mind, cuz im a fan of the superchargers over the turbos myself

o hello TJ...and tyler

TJ you know what i think. Twins are great and all but i prefer a Procharger or Kenne Bell. Since your on a stock engine.

Or build up your engine, make it bullit proof then decide what forced induction to throw at it...You dont need a 4v cobra motor to make lots of power.

TJ...you could just buy a an already built shortblock from Modular Powerhouse.

Or you could buy a used block and buy all the forged internals yourself.

It would probably be easier to just keep the engine in your stang for right now and start building another engine on the side. Then drop it in when its done.
