Default 01 GT MOD Help

Hey Guys I need some advice on a couple of mods that I have in mind for my for 01 GT automatic tranny.

Here are some of the things that I have:
1. CAI already ordered waiting to intall.
2. Shift Kit

Here is what I want to add.

1. Underdrive pulley kit
2. Throttle body and plenum
3. Rear end gears.
4. Diablo programmer
5. and maybe longtube headers with a new exhaust system

My question is do you guys think this is a good starting point for hp increase? I looking to increase hp with very little money right now. Im not trying to go over the top with hp. I just want some decent power gains. I'm looking into gettin the programmer. Do you guys think thats a good move with a stock GT. Or would I be wasting my time?

Hey thanks guys. I cant run a O/R x pipe I live in texas we have to pass emissions test down here. I already have maganflow mufflers welded in. I was thinking about getting the magnaflow magpack with a catted x pipe. How does the sound? I looking for little more of and exhaust tone but now overly loud. What is a good catted x pipe to buy. I will definately look into getting the Xcal2. I hope it has a program to correct my speedo for the 20 inch rims.

Yeah I don't blame ya. Better to have it done correctly. I don't know if that thread had any prices anywhere, but you could be looking at from 250-500 for an install depending on your mechanic.

My sister had an auto 2001 GT coupe. It ran consitent 14.40's stock and then consitent 14.20's with a best of 14.19 after I added a 70mm throttle body and ported her upper plenum. I had even better results on my 5 speed GT, there is power to be had replacing the stock pieces.

If you want to havethe most fun with your car for the least amount of money, get the gears, a programmer and tune, Drag Radials and an NX kit. Run 75hp on the street and 125hp when you need to get serious.
