Default MOD help

Hello all. I am new to the whole make my mustang faster thing and I must say it is addictive and at sometimes very confusing.

I have a 2006 GT, manual trans., all stock, and i was looking at the:

Steeda 2005+ Mustang GT Complete Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake Kit and SCT X3 Combo.

How much would I expect to gain from this? Most of the reviews I have read were positive, but most indicated that they had an automatic. I haven't read anywhere about performance increases on a manual. Please advise. Thanks.

Also what is the 90 dollar price difference on the same CAI without the carbon fiber? Is there any reason to spend the extra dough?

You will need the SCT now with a 05+ when doing any mods. The carbon fiberis just going to be for looks and maybe a extremely small weight reduction.

the carbon fiber intake should reduce temperatures of the intake itself.

But yeah, your looking at probably 15-20rwhp, which is pretty awesome for the whole 700 dollars your going to spend and you will be using the SCT for other mods as well.

good investment.
