Default exhaust trouble

aight i purchased borla i went out n bought rhino ramps and a torque wrench

im all ready to go i get the drivers side muffler down and out but

i can not get the piece from the muffler to the tail pipe out i have tried every single angle and way to get this piece of **** out
I really dont wanna cut it cuz i was gonna sell it

the passenger side came loose but i learn that it has been welded from the muffler to the tail pipe

i figure i will have to cut that so i might as well cut both
anyways i have about 1 foot of room under the car and now im kinda stuck in the garage

anyways i wannna put my borla in but now im worried that i wont be able to get the pipe over the rear axle has anyone had a problem or info that they can help me with?? does anyone have a tutorial or a walk through they could reccomend??

I'm takin out flowmaster american thunder and putting borla stingers in and i thought i would save some money by doin it myself and its turning into a ****in pain in the ***

All cat backs that I know of don't have the tail pipes welded to the muffler so w/ some persuasion, it will go in. Also, try to use jack stands so that the rear axle isn't loaded. This will give you more room and is safer (I personally hate ramps). In addition, if you still want to get the old cat-back out un-cut, you need to remove the axle. However, if you want to cut it, nothing beats a Sawz-all or a hack saw.

uhh... you're on ramps?

Put it on jackstands... axle down = more room

Letting a pro do a cat-back is just silly. All you need is a $50 jackstand/jack set from Sears, socket wrench and sockets, wrenches, a hack-saw, channel-locks, and of course, WD-40.
