I'm takin out flowmaster american thunder and putting borla stingers in and i thought i would save some money by doin it myself and its turning into a ****in pain in the ass |
aight i just rented a muffler pipe cutting tool this thing is a piece of shit n it will prob take me 3 hours to cut until next time

All cat backs that I know of don't have the tail pipes welded to the muffler so w/ some persuasion, it will go in. Also, try to use jack stands so that the rear axle isn't loaded. This will give you more room and is safer (I personally hate ramps). In addition, if you still want to get the old cat-back out un-cut, you need to remove the axle. However, if you want to cut it, nothing beats a Sawz-all or a hack saw.

uhh... you're on ramps?
Put it on jackstands... axle down = more room |
this is a real pain in the ass with the money im spending on tools etc i shoulda just let a pro do it
but whatever when i finish i can actually say i did it |
Letting a pro do a cat-back is just silly. All you need is a $50 jackstand/jack set from Sears, socket wrench and sockets, wrenches, a hack-saw, channel-locks, and of course, WD-40.

exhaust install, so what was the torque wrench for....
unload the rear axle you gets lots more room |
Hell I didn't even need the channel locks for mine.
|
torque wrench was to tighten to the specs borla recommends
but anyways its in and its badass |
