Hi guys as some of you may know within the next year i will be trying to make a low 12 to high 11 second daily driver that is N/A. I'm trying to not soend buckets of money though. I need to decide which cams to get though. Should i get VT Stage 1 Cams, VT Stage 2 Cams, Comp Cams Hot street cam on mod. dpot.? Also when you tell me which i should get could ya'll list what my car will need to have for those cams etc? What is a good installation price for cams and springs? Thanks

 

My personal suggestion would be Comp Cams custom grinds. If you want an off the shelf grind, the VT's are the best out there.

 

I'm with him 100% but i would go comps more over than the vt's. but that is just a personal choice. your best bet is to call VT and talk with them or look online at
MD for some info on those cams. Also you can call comp cams and they will give you the correct cam for your mods and needs. They are very helpful and i have used them before.

 

From what Scott at VT said, they arent going to have cores to gring cams with until May, so dont get you hopes up of getting any anytime soon. Id go VT's, just because they have a proven track record, and their service is great. Good luck.
