Seems like you have a misunderstanding about converters. VERY aggressive cams will be less streetable then a high stall converter. Im runng a 3500 stall and VT Stage 2 cams in my DD. I know people running 4k+ stall's in their DD's. The car really wont drive any differently with a high stall converter. With cams your car will idle drifferently and you will lose gas mileage. With the high stall your car will still move forward at idle. The only different that you MIGHT notice is youll have to give it a bit more gas to get moving. But thats not a big difference.

A converter should be one of your last mods. There are a lot of things that you need to consider when picking a converter. Some of those things are gears, NA or power adder, max torque rpm, weight, street/ stirp or all drag, etc.

Oh, and I HIGHLY recommend www.bc-automotive.com for all your auto needs. Dont forget a tranny cooler and J Mod to go along with that converter. You can find all those write ups on my site (see sig).

Like he said before a converter should be last unless you know what your going to do with the car. Depending on what you want you need to get a stall for what your going to use. Options of the stall used are like single disk and for nitrous a forced induction your going to need a Multi disk and the stall rpm is also important
