I thought some 99-04s had spark wires??

I have used NGK and Autolite....no problems on each...not really sure why I changed from autolite to NGK...they were cheaper

actually...to tell you the truth...I have no clue why I have had three sets of spark plugs on this car lol

NGK TR55's will probably be just fine unless he's running a power adder.....The problem some people have with TR6's are they are meant to be gapped at .34 (I might be a little off, but it's around that) versus plugs that are within stock heat ranges, which are meant for a gap of .54, which I think is close to the stock gap......... if you want to stay with your stock gap then don't get TR6's because they aren't made to be gapped within the stock range. I think NGK recommends that you only adjust the TR6 gap very very little.

But if your running a lot of timing then TR6's might help you out......maybe people with more knowledge can chime in.

TR55 come in .054" gap great for N/a and is a stock heat rang.

TR6 comes at .035" great for power adder motors like nitrous, blower, turbo, and one heat rang colder.

SO stock TR55 power adder TR6.

I had TR6's in my 03 lightning. TR55's in my 95 GT. TR55's in the saleen but then i went with TR55GP, just so it will last alittle longer.
