It's actually pretty easy and I'm by no means any kind of a mechanic.....go to your local parts store and get a spark plug changing kit....it comes with a 3/8" drive FLEX ratchet, 3/8" extension 10",
3/8" drive Spark Plug Socket 5/8".....some anti seize lubricant and dielectric tune grease.....and a 99 cent gap tool.......The flex ratchet is key cause it allows you to move around the engine. The only thing I had to take off is my intake tube.

chaniung plugs is easy on our cars takes about 20-30 mins. Try it on a f150 with the long runner intake you will spend noramly 2-4 hours doing the plugs on those bitchs. It took me 6 hours my first time because the back 2 plugs on both sides are soo hard to get too.

Holy crap it took me forever to get one of the back plugs on the passenger side. I didnt have a flex, just a regular long extension. I ended up having to use a magnetic pickup tool to get the plug/socket out of the hole.
