Default Miss fire

Between 1,200 and 1,400 RPM, I'm getting a miss. Otherwise, the engine is smooth. What do you think? MAF, plugs, wires...? Why just in that RPM range?

Thanks.

Could be ignition components, fuel filter, or timing. How old are those parts?

Check your plugs and your gap. If your off by around 5-10 thou on each plug you might get a slight miss. I know I did. I put new plugs in AUTOLITE 764 copper cores and used feeler gauges to bring the gap down to exactly 30 thous and I havent had any issues since.

That is the factory gap. I closed down to 30 for the supercharger. I closed my girlfriends 00' GT down to 45 thou. and she is running Autolite AP764 and the car runs great.

No biggy. If your car has around 50,000 miles it's time to change your Plugs/wires and certain parts of your ignition system anyways. It doesn't take long.
