Default SCT XCal 2

I ordered mine from mustang tuning and gave them all the specifics of my car. I received today and loaded onto the computer. When I went to the customization screen where it lists all the user options I checked to see if it had my rear end correct and it was listed as stock so I changed to 4.10. It then uploaded the program. Did it upload a completey diffrent program and erase the tune. Also did not see the Tire Size Selection option. How do I know the tune worked? I installed my 4.10's today also so have no clue on the butt dyno if it's in their. Any help or another forum to look for info would be greatly appreciated. Or also a surefire way to know the custom tune is installed.

Thanks,
Nik

trust me you will know if your tune worked... due stock tune and drive a round a little bit and then change to performance and see what you feel

yeah thats right...then you should hold off on the xcal for a bit and drive around with the 410's and then put the tune on if you want to tell the difference...... BTW didnt you get the venom 100 kit alos???

Well i've had the 4.10's for a while now but have been waiting for the XCAL to install them. I didn't want my speedo to be off. So I installed them both at the same time today.

Nope wasn't be on the Venom 1000. I did post about a NX EFI Kit though.

It's like a whole new car! I wish I wouldn't have waited so long. Hopefully now I won't get embarrased by stock ls1s.

I am trying to decide what route to take, either get a SCT XCAL or 4:10 gears.....Which would you recommend???

ull need a recalibrator w/ the 4.10's so you might as well save ur money and get the sct while ur at it (if u get the 4.10's that is) ...and id say get both at the same time

I'd say 4.10's.
