first off.. what are your 60 fts? maybe just getting better traction is the key to utilize the torque you already have.

Exclamation

Gears 1st off, but also a Throttle Body/Plenum will do you alot of good too. But I would say tires and gears. Go with some nitto 555Rs. The widest you can fit on your rim. Than you will really get a good launch!

Trust me I had the same problem when I 1st got my car.... 3.27s with 295s do not work!!!

you can fit some 315s on those 10" rims, gears will definately help, 3.73 and 4.10 are popular, but 3.90 are also available, as well as the 03-04 Cobra's 3.55s. And a cheap easy one: nitrous. What most people don't realize is that nitrous will give you about 1 1/2 times the torque as the advertised horsepower. For instance, a kit rated at 100HP at 6500 RPM gives you about 150 Lbs more TQ down low. Nittos are good, as well as TA drag radials. A turbo or blower wil work, you can probably get a turbo set up relatively cheap, but you have to wait for spool, so it's not the best for TQ. Kenne Bell makes the most efficient supercharger available, unless you count whipple (same setup, different company) KB offers 2 kits for the GT, and it sounds like the 1.7 or 1.7 intercooled would probably fit your application, and fits under your stock hood.

your car shouldnt feel sluggish off the line. try re-tuning your car.
is your car stick or automatic?
i'd say get some gears asap...

he has a bullit, i doubt the throttle body and plenum would do much for him.

bullit TB is a twin bore 37mm IIRC. More than enough flow for a 4.62V. unless you go to forced induction on a bullit there's zero sense in upping the TB size. And I don't know of any plenums on the aftermarket for bullits

he could have his stock intake ported then add a T/B.

Porting the Bullitt intake is pretty expensive. I dont know of any gains from doing this. But adding a t/b would not be worth it. I bought my bullitt intake used and it came with the Accufab t/b. I sold that and got a stock one instead. Unless he has a blower/ turbo on it the stock t/b is good. Money can be spent better else where.

get some longtubes, 4.10's, a stall if its auto, big sticky tires, and a mild cam, all that and you would be feeling a lot more torque
