I was wondering if you guys could give me some advice on a body appearence package. I just bought a 03 Gt and was thinking of putting a new bumper and maybe side skirts on. What do you think would look best the saleen, cobra, cobra r, steeda splitter, or the roush bumper? Do you think putting on one would give a false impression on a gt with only a coldair intake, springs, and strut tower bar? thanks

 

I used to say "don't waste money on appearance mods", but now after seeing a Roush 380R, I now have a kit on my car.

Imitation is the finest form of flattery, right? Make the car look the way you want it. You are only posing if you actualy put Saleen or Roush stickers on the thing.

I really don't don't like the Saleen look too much...too ricey. Cobra R front splitter with wing delete looks hot. Steeder splitter is OK. Roush is my love.

 

Only thing that scares me about it is ground clearance. Choose something that isn't much lower than a stock GT with Mach 1 spoiler if you ever have to go over speed humps or driveway transitions. The best looking front bumper I've seen is the Type-C from Ground Dynamics but I'd have it ripped off in a week. http://www.grounddynamics.com

 

I say get an 03 cobra front bumper and a 3.5" cowl hood and be done.

 

I am getting the Cobra R Front Bumper and a Steeda Wing. Dont like how high the cobra R wing sits.
