wierd smell?

i just installed my slp x-pipe and there i a wierd smell from the exhaust wen i drive is that normal? and also the x-pipe is very low i scraped it on a speedbump at school is that normal too?

Its normal, its just the coating burning. Happens when you install any new exhaust part.

aight yeah i thought it was just everything burning off but i wanted to make sure and wat about the fact that its really low is that normal?

smell is norm, like he said pob just the coating...mine is not so low is rubs however. i have eibach pro springs(1-1/2). i did use a small jack at the x-cross to keep level as i snugged everything uo. i would def make some adjustments

x's and h's do hang a tad lower than the stocker, but not drastically.

My bassani hangs pretty low compared to stock. Learn to drive slower and at an angle over speed bumps... comes with the territory.

Yea thats what I did too. Just raise it up with a jack to level then tighten everything up. Worked for me.
