Wierd Question..
Okay, so this has happened to me twice already...it happened to me yesterday and once about 5 months back...I'll get home turn the stang off..than 30 min. later I'll wanna go for a drive get in the car..try to start it up and all I'll get a click then everything immediately will die. Remote doesn't work, headlights, everything. Once that happends I'll try to start it and the car does nothing, it doesn't click like the sound a car makes when the battery is too low to start it up. It just goes dead. This has happened twice and I'm not sure what to look for. After this happens, i'll pop the hood. disconnect the battery terminal for about a minute and hook them back up and it fires up with no problems. What can this be? Battery terminals look fine......

I dunno, just a thought...I am not sure if the key chip just sends one signal right at startup to allow the car to start or if it sends multiple signals the whole time the car is running to keep it running. Thats how BMW's work...so maybe our cars are similar in that way...so I thought I'd mention it. just trying to help.

Sounds like your car isnt even getting the power but when you move the power or ground of the battery cables, it starts. Im thinking your cables are corroded. time for new ones, they are under 20 bucks for both.
