Thumbs down Wierd Question..

Okay, so this has happened to me twice already...it happened to me yesterday and once about 5 months back...I'll get home turn the stang off..than 30 min. later I'll wanna go for a drive get in the car..try to start it up and all I'll get a click then everything immediately will die. Remote doesn't work, headlights, everything. Once that happends I'll try to start it and the car does nothing, it doesn't click like the sound a car makes when the battery is too low to start it up. It just goes dead. This has happened twice and I'm not sure what to look for. After this happens, i'll pop the hood. disconnect the battery terminal for about a minute and hook them back up and it fires up with no problems. What can this be? Battery terminals look fine......

Replace the power and ground wires. They corrode after time and I know you have over 100k miles.

Our keys have PATS not with a chip. The car would throw a theft code and you wouldnt get any fuel if its activated. It would attempt to turn over but it wont start.

Sounds like your car isnt even getting the power but when you move the power or ground of the battery cables, it starts. Im thinking your cables are corroded. time for new ones, they are under 20 bucks for both.
