Whats Next?
Im stuck on what to do next. i have a buddy that can port and polish the stock heads for cheap, but is it worth the down time? I know many people would say spray but it is daily driven and only has 34,000 miles on it and i dont want the hassle. Gears, cam, blower, x-pipe, headers, throttle body....i mean all that sounds nice but what would give me the most power gains without breaking the bank?

blower best thing to do. there is nothing like the look of a c5 corvette driver when you are passing them up before your second gear shift.
if money is a issue then start saving. you will barely be over 300 hp with cams and port and polish. port and polish should only be done by someone who has worked with modular heads for a long time.
nitrous is the best bang for buck. i would of done it but filling that bottle all the time will start to add up.

The local race way closed down literally the weekend after i bought it. i still have my occasional street races. i guess blower is the thing to do...what do you reccomend to go with? all of my buddies have always said to go with ATI. which i will probablly will do but is there a company that makes a loud blower. personally if i am going to spend the money i want it to be known i got one.

centrifugal chargers are quiet wide open. they have a slight whistle at idle and a noticeable sound when you lightly tap on the pedal but thats it. the only thing i noticed between prochargers and vortech is that prochargers make more torque then horsepower. procharger is cheaper then vortech. prochargers are intercooled and self contained. vortechs are not intercooled and not self contained you have to punch a hole in the oil pan. my vortech is intercooled (this setup costed 5600) and pullied to 11-12 pounds of boost and im pushin 395 hp and 392 torque with 14*'s of timing. i probably picked up 150+ hp and 110+ lb ft of torque.
kenne bell twin screws are quiet at idle and have a distinct sound at wide open throttle. you can compare it to a 03-04 cobra. i seen a nearly stock autmatic 03 gt with 3.73 gears and a kenne bell 1.7 kit with a 10 psi pulley make a 12.0 pass in the quarter mile.

I appreciate the help. i think for the application i am going for i will use the Procharger. quite frankly where i live it is more about a 0-60 run or 0-120 not neccessarily a top speed run. Just yesterday i was cruising at 150 on one of the local highways. top speed is already there i just want to see how fast i can get there. i think i will also go with a set of Ford Racing 3.73 gears and a SLP X-Pipe without cats and see what that does with the blower. How much was the installation of your blower? and also on the application chart and also from what ive heard, i think 10lbs is what i can run safely without harming the motor too much. how much is too much before i have to get into the engine?

Procharger is not a bad choice. Be careful about the seals tho, they tend to leak. I've heard only use 3/4 of the bottle instead of the full bottle, this helps.
I personally would not go over 8psi. The stock is generally rated to about 400RWHP. However, the psi can also hurt the block. For example if for some reason you were at 14 psi but only 390RWHP, this will still cut short the life of the block.
Things I suggest to get: boost gauge, fuel pressure gauge, Aviator/Focus SVT fuel pump (might need a boost a pump), 42# injectors, 90mm Lightning MAF.
I would start looking right now for a reputable dyno shop near you.
The dyno tune will be the most important.

Thanks again and also is there a place where you would recommend to buy these other parts from? i know a lot of places differ in prices and every dollar helps. And also what is a good general price for the installation of all this?

As far as price, truthfully, take the time and just search around. You can find some stuff well priced.
42# 250 bux
LMAF 90 bux
gagues: 300 bux
pump:120 bux
Procharger with 2 core intercooler about 3,500. With 3 core it's generally 300 dollars more.
Install with the intercooler, about 650-700 for a good price.
Not sure on the dyno tune.
