Default Whats next you say

I've been asked by a few people whats next......and I have a answer as of a few hours ago.

Well big news first i'm going at the end of Apirl to have my car dyno tuned.....and got a pretty good deal I thought i'd go all out so were going to do the 87 daily driver tune, the 93 octane N/A tune, and the almighty 93 octane nitrous tune. Now since the tuner is pretty cool with me were gonna take a few trips on the streets to get the shift points just right and the way I like them. He's also going to unlock the end user ability on my X-cal2 which it never had.

Fuel hopefully getting a Aviator 310lph fuel pump put in soon......so no more fuel issues.

And last but not least and you all are going to call me crazy while on the dyno the 125 shot is going on.....my tuner said lets give it a shot if its too much we'lll switch it back to the 100.

All in all i'm going to be pretty happy come Summer

You wont go rich......fuel is still controled by the ecu......but now with this pump is when I go out of the range of my stock pump I will actually have fuel so I dont lean out and go boom.....its more of a precaution than anything else.

i drove from delaware to california with the focus pump installed without a tune and got 26 mpg traveling at 70 mph. i have a auto with 3.73 gears so i got good mpg. so no it wont make the car run rich.

all the pump will do is flow fluid. your injectors controls the amount of fuel that is needed at any given time. everything is controlled electrically not mechanically. just because this pump flows more fluid doesnt mean it will consume more fuel the injectors will keep it in check until they demand more fuel from the pump.

My question is, when you are on you Nitrous tune, can you drive around without using nitrous, or will you go lean/rich?

And the other end, is say your on your 93 N/A tune and then all of a sudden someone wants to race, is it safe to spray nitrous since your not on that tune??????

he will be fine driving around with the nitrous tune its just setup to have less timing and a bit more fuel added. And your not nuts i have been running the 125 pills for a long time in my compucar kit.
