Anyone have some estimations for installing Long Tube Headers?

 

my dad's gonna do them for free for me after my v8 swap. but i know he charges $700 and it takes him about 5 hours. He's doin a civic tomorrow, cant wait

 

Took me and my mechanic 7 hours from pulling the car in to pulling the car out. i also dropped the kmember and lowered the engine. Most places will charge 75 bucks an hour easily and ford lists stock manifolds as a 7 hour job.

 

me and my dad did it in like a 1 1/2 days (for the whole exhaust).. we wasted a day trying to do it without dropping the k-member lol

 

ya thats what we had to do on my install. 4 1/2 hours into we said to hell with it were just droppin the motor...It made for a 90% easier install. To bad i had a cracked gasket and we had to do the whole motor drop process twice!

My LT's and catted mid pipe install was 625 bux. His first time on a MOD motor too.

 

I did it by myself dropping the k member in about 14 hours my very first time. Now I can probably get it done in about 7 or less by myself. http://www.dndgarage.net/macltheaderinstall.htm
