Hello I did the Calculator for gears and I have 3:27 gears!!!! I am running 1500rpms at 50mph which the Cal said I should be running at 52mph, but I guess i'm a little under, or my speedo is off. That is a relief because I am going to put 4:10 gears in her and spray her with a 100 shot!!!!!! I'm getting Nitto 555R's and I have not decided on my suspension yet. So I'm looking to run some 12's.............

 

the calculator is probably off because of physics.

wind resistance, loss of energy through friction etc.

 

nothing else matters when it comes to calculating car speed in relation to rpm. There may be very slight differences, but I do think that your speedo is fine. My gears are stock and I see slight differences in the calculator

get the 4.10's already...

 

LOL, I was concerned about getting the 4:10s and already having them in the damn car!! So now I know and I will be getting the 4:10s in sometime this month!!!! Then comes the Venom 1000 KIT!!! Look out 12's!!!!!!
