Take off the alternator and take it to a garage. Thats the eaisest way to do it. .
#3
i took mine off with hand tools. is the belt still on the car? if not then put it back on and try it. or get a pair of c clamps to hold the pulley on place.

if i take the alternator off, i have nothing to drive it to the shop in, yes the belt is still on there...:censored: this isn't supposed to be that hard...i think the nut has rusted to the bolt. they have become one. maybe its time for a new alternator.

You probably done rounded it off. Try a 6 point impact socket.
#6
So did you finally get it?
#7
i've been using the 6pt socket, and it isn't rounded off at all.
and no, i have yet to get it...so i put on the SLP cat-back. least something was easy

LOL and it sounds good too.

it should be a simple matter of the belt on and a impact gun will take it off.
