Its not difficult if you have all the tools but could be expensive if you dont. Whats needed is an Alternator pulley extractor, crank pulley extractor, torque wrench, breaker bar or equilvilant plus sockets and rachet. You have to get the correct crank extractor dont use the a standard pulley extractor like the one for the alternator. The most it should take is 1hour if you have all the tools.

Damn! I can't get a straight answer from ford about installing T-Lok on my 05 stang. They did say it's a 6 hr job 645.00 in labor but can't tell me if I'll need parts other than the diff itself. I guess I'll blow that off for now, unless anyone knows a good shop in the houston area......Also they won't install the UDP! WTF!!

Damn, that sucks. They told me they wouldn't modify from stock. I'm going to go ahead and order them....I'll find a mech somewhere to do the install.
Have you had any trouble since installing? Water pump, alt, ac all still working as they should?

All you need is a either a air gun (highyl recomend) or a breaker bar to get the crank bolt loose. After that you can rent a harmonic balanecer pully puller and take it off install new one and tighten down with a tourqe wrench to the proper specs.
i did mine on my car maybe 30mins of work? its fast and easy dont pay anyone to do it. especialy if your freinds have air tolls and a tourqe wrench or if you have them all.

i would advise AGAINST rpmoutlet.com
i know a lot of people that have had HORRIBLE service from them. and a lot of ripped off customers.
if you want v6parts you have
www.vmptuning.com
www.supersixmotorsports.org
www.rpmmustangs.com
oh and you can do the UDP yourself, no biggie just take yourtime and read directions.
as far as a tlok install i got 3.73's and a tlok in for 225$ total labor, find someone that isnt going to rape you for it
