Default King Cobra

I think my clutch is going out on my car, it takes it a while for it to catch when i take off and slips when racing. I was thinking of a king cobra and wondering if anyone recommendes it.

I've heard mixed opinions of the King Cobra. If you take it to the track a lot then I would steer towards the Center Force Dual Friction. If you don't race it or launch hard on the street much then the King Cobra should be fine.

Works great for me. I havnt taken it to the track yet, but I have dumped it a few times to do a nice burnout. Holds quite well.

The 3650's came with the 11" clutch which I'm told is basically the same thing as the KC. I have a branded KC in my 03 but I find it to be only adequate. I'd get an Apex Motorsports kevlar dual friction clutch. Really great, minimal pedal effort, holds 600+hp with ease, kevlar friction surface. Check out www.apexmotorsports.com for info.

I get nothing if you get one. Apex just has the best clutch I've used so I thought I'd hook you up with their proprietary clutch spec. My apologies to MT if they sell something comparable. I couldn't find it.

My car has almost 88k miles with the stocker, has lasted 15+ track passes...and 10+ nitrous bottles...still holding up and no sings of giving up (knocks on wood)...

I've got some money set aside for when mine finally lets go. Neither my wife or I baby the car when we don't have to. She gets driven the way she was made to be driven. I will say that I'm about fed up with the OEM transmission. Only 6,000 miles on this one and the synchro issue with second is popping up again. When it lets go the next time I'm switching to a TKO.
