Free shipping doesnt slow your order down, they always seem to ship within 24 hours. I picked up an order from mustang tuning last week. They are 30 miles away. I got some gears and went in the warehouse. They had clutches i noticed stacked eye high.
I had a king cobra clutch in a 5.0 i had 10 years ago. It was an upgrade from a stock 10" to 10.5". I could dump the clutch in 2nd on a launch and no slippage or smell. They said clutch pedal is easier, but i didnt feel the difference. The king Cobras are a good clutch for a great price. I had it handleing the power of a Cartech Intercooled Turbo 5.0 mustang i had, pushing 14lbs of boost, and it would be at full boost @ 2400rpm, I could be in 3rd and let the turbos spool up @ 2000rpm and break the tires loose @ 40mph and no clutch slippage. That clutch can handle 500hp easy.
