Default Next Mods + lotta questions...

Ok, I did really good on my tax return (4x more than I have ever got) The car looks pretty much the way I want (so many people getting the 380r front has turned me off of it) I'm going performance. My next three mods are as follows:

1. xcal2
2. gears (unsure of ratio, I fear the gear)
3. accufab tb/plenum

I'm gonna do 2 of these and the other over the summer, then the focus is on paying the damn car off. Its an automatic so keep thsat in mind. Posted it here b/c I read that some of you don't read the tech sections, please move it if you would like.

Q1: If I get a mail order tune, and buy #1 and #3, can I adjust that tune to accept the gear ratio or do I have to order an additional tune with the gear ratio included?

Q2: If I get just the xcal2 and gears with the mail order tune and exclude the tb/plenum mod, will it make that much difference in what I'd gain with the tb/plenum on the tune when I install the tb/plenum?

Q3: How do I get the shift points adjusted thru a mail order tune, do I just tell them and they set them to already tried and tested parameters?

Q4: Can I delete a tune and replace it with a new one (on the xcal2) if I go with say cam and heads in the future?

Sorry for all the ?'s but just wanna know b4 I blow a buncha $$> If any of this is unclear, I'll try to explain myself.

Get the gears and the xcal2 FIRST. More specifically, get the 4.10's and the xcal2 FIRST. Dont know about the shift points, no, you wont notice much of a change if you wait on the tb/plenum setup. DO NOT FEAR THE GEAR! Yes, you can delete the tunes on an xcal and reprogram it.

Lance, I have a guy that does mechanic work on the side (he builds motors, full race suspensions, and rearends) I'm gonna check with him tomorrow, if he's too high, I'll send you a PM. Thanks man! $150 sounds dirt *** cheap. BTW: I have 11,500 miles on the car now, do I need the install kit or just the ring and pinion? Any whining with yours? Where in Missouri is Carthage?

The guy has done alot of my friends cars and no problems with any of them.Carthage is right next too Joplin in SW Missouri. With that low of miles all you should need is the FRRP 4:10's and some gear lube.

The guy builds race engines for alot of people around here and races himself.I trusted him with mine
