Nah, you have to shave the rear bumper to get rid of the cobra.

 

Well its sitting in the garage all lonesome until we get the call for paint, were also waiting on the hood and a few minor parts but other than that there really isn't much to update. I do plan on getting the 03 bumper any ways and a few other things in the near future. Can't wait to get it done so i can take some real pics!

I'm sure you can find a rear Cobra bumper with out the letters, just might take some heavy searching.

I agree, i got the Saleen with the Saleen on the rear. Some people don't like to put a name on the car if it's not really the car. But in your case there would be no reason why you couldnt have Cobra on the rear, lol.

 

oh no..thats not what I was saying..the car is a cobra deffiantly have it say cobra on the back..I don't like how the 99 cobra's say mustang on the bumper..I thought the 01's were the same but guess not..but they still are the gt bumper just with cobra on the back..thats why I say get the 03-04 rear bumper ^^!

Well as the d-bag that lives with me and posts on my own freaking thread for me said, we got the headlights, but the turn signals didn't come with bulbs nor the plugin for them (screw blueovalindustries they are s***, never ever do business with them) and they were poorly packaged and don't fit well and the bumper was warped and we had to heat it up and it still isnt better and the hood finally came in from ford and oh ya i hate blueovalindustries they suck and are unreliable dip****s and we found out it goes in on mon or tues for paint. ANDDDDD, we have to get it inspected by the highway patrol b/c its got a salvage title and then inspected for licensing etc and the a/c has to be reset and we cant get the airbag light to go off since we replaced them (any help with that would be great) and so it should total out to be like a month until i can freaking drive it! i am going stir crazy here! plus there are so many unreliable people in the world it kills me

Also i am thinking about getting a custom license plate, any ideas that you can come up with that you wouldn't mind saying to your mother???

Same here. Whenever something comes in we always talk for at least 5 min in my driveway. He has re-built some classic cars himself so he's cool as hell. He actually offered me a job during the Christmas season.

Well we took it up to the paint shop on monday and here it is thursday and we find out that it may be done friday and not sure about the day we pick it up but am assuming that it will be by monday, then we have to get a new airbag module b/c the one we bought is faulty and than get it inspected by highway patrol, and get it insured and licensed, should be between 2 and 3 weeks before its all said and done, i will post pics and a vid or two as soon as we get it back
