SO since getting the holes filled in on my trunk lid is going to cost a **** load i was debating on going another route

please i need allot of opinions

i want to get a carbon fiber trunk lid from VIS and i woudl also get the 99 01 cobra hood in carbon fiber

please lots of opinions non too harsh though remember my car is a darker blue so im thinking it will look good

 

wanna really save a S*** load of money....just go to ur local auto store and buy interior push plugs and then prime them.....go to a ford dealer and get some touch up paint...paint the plugs and pop them into ur deck lid....should cost u more than like 20 bucks depending on how much paint u get

 

i thought of that dont wanna do that

so opinions on my idea since i have the money to do it actually i have about 3500 at disposal of my dad so i want to know wut u guys think of that idea

with the rest of the money i have surprises for u people but need opinions on the carbon fiber idea

 

Find someone with a V6 of your color without a spoiler and ask them if they'll trade you trunklids, or go to salvage yards lookin for a frontend wrecked V6 without a spoiler and buy the trunklid. If it's already your color then sweet, if not take it to a shop and have them sand, prime and paint it.

 

I got mine done for free with pushpins at work. Im leaving it that way.

wingless decklid for free is teh win!

 

I would paint the decklid to match the car even tho it's CF. I hate painting CF but I think it would look dumb on the trunk, IMO. I wouldn't touch the hood tho of you get CF.
