Post Need opinions...

Ok here goes.....basically I ripped off my front bumper on a steel rod poking out of a curb. So now it's getting replaced. I'm looking at either getting an 03 cobra or cobra r bumper. Yeah mine is a GT but the way I see it, everyone has their own style. I've always liked the cobra front ends so that's why I want one. But anyway, just asking for opinions on where to buy one. I've seen on ABC Exclusive where they have either one for $289 urethane but I've kinda heard things about the quality. Blue Oval has the 03 cobra for $535 shipped and it comes with everything, front spoiler, fog lights, etc. So does anyone else know of any other places besides them? I know cervini's has them but I'm not paying $4xx + shipping for a bumper. And ebay doesn't have much and the one auction I did look into (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT), I'm not sure about the company. So any ideas here would help. Thanks guys.

:stupid:

When it comes to hoods, bumpers and front fascia's you should be ready to spend some money because it will be worth it in the long run. Save up a little more and get exactly what you want. These parts make significant changes to your car so make sure you get top quality.

Exactly.Do research on anything like that.Alot of places make them but how is the quality? When I was looking for a Hood I found some alot cheaper than what I ended up paying but to me it was worth it.The fit and finish are perfect and had no problem's with the whole process.

I've been looking at different sites and reading on different forums about these bumpers. I'm just curious if anyone here has opinions on the quality of the bumpers from places like ABC Exclusive and Blue Oval Industries. I've read on other forums where there were positives and negatives. One says they're great and someone else says they're not. Basically, looking for some feedback. Saving money isn't the problem here as I have the cash ready but which sites have the better quality and the only way to know that is to get opinions from others.

Stay away from the Cobra R front bumper. My buddy had one on his 03 GT with eibach springs and he could hardly drive that car anywhere because it would scrape or hit. He eventually snapped the bottom lip all the way through and up the fog light placment. Its a very impracticle bumper for a street driven mustang.

:stupid: The cobra R fascia sits VERY low, and that's even when the car is on factory suspension.

Yeah I'm leaning towards the 03 cobra since my car is probably too low for the r. Buddy of mine has one on his but mine is lower than his. Just gotta find a good place to buy one.
