Need Opinions
Before you read on let me clarify...I dont want your opinions becuase you have a v8 and ragging on a 6 its only 2 more pistons. Now instead of doing all my body work right now I want to beef up my suspension and rearend. Im going to be calling a few places that have wrecked GTs or something to get the rearend becuase i know the v6 wont handle after I get the Engine work done. My friend is going to do this...at least I hope because he is the only one I trust. Here is want I want to do and for th best and most power right now and a quick job which should I go with first...He is a fabulious mechanic.
Larger Cam
4:10 Gears
Roller rockers
New air intake
Heads will be modified by him ill let him decide on this
Magnaflow dual exhaust
this is before I really touch the internals then Ill need to beef up the tranny and driveshaft.. What your opinions and ideas to make this thing thump?

The stock rearend can hold up to 300 the driveshaft pretty much the same If you had read correctly they will be upgraded before I really touch my internals and the Horse power will be a good ways over 300. Im calling around next wed about getting those two...Unless I can find a good driveshaft online.

Nope... Im not sure how much ill be pushing until I dyno it...I dont expect you to know every inch of HP a part can gain... because upgrades for a v8 will be different range than a 6. He said He can get me an easy 100 to 120 extra horses with some of the stuff I mentioned and some others. These two men know fords inside and out... considering they have only built their own and the other one built for ford racing and nascar engines. Under 500 he said He can get me around that range.

If you wanna mod your stang alot, i would do what most harcore v6 gusy do, get rid of your 7.5" rear end and get a 8.8 from a GT.
As for your other mods they are great. But i wouldnt bother to upgrade the stock rear unless you arent gonna add sticky tires to your car and your not gonna drag the **** out of it.

look. buy a blower kit and run it on your stock motor, those 3.8 are tough, as for the rear and trans. i would save up dough and wait till it breaks. as already stated, unless your using sticky tires i think youll be fine

Just to be on the safe side because I know my driving...jk. no really I would like just to be safe and go ahead and upgrade the driveshaft and rearend to a Gt...Ill be running at the strip of course but its not a weekly thing... just when someone wants to or I want to run. Ill be adding TT's later and my friend works deals and knows where to Go and he does the work himself...Ive seen his handy work in person and rode in one of the cars he built.

well its allways a good idea to build your weak points before throwing a lot of hp at it . . . things that eventually need to be done like
Tranny
Rearend
Fuel system aka pump+injecters
Forged rotating assembly etc
im sure its the best way to go if you can be slow for so long and wait so long
