anyone kno any good DIGITAL cameras that are UNDER 200 (i kno it wont be the BEST for cheap, but i want a camera bad...lol)

if ya want to just mention the best brand to get...and how many megapixels is good enough for sweet pics? thx...

 

anything over 4 or 5 megapixels is pretty good make suer you get one that can record some video...Better yet get a small video camera that what I did so I can record some vids

 

if i got a 5 megapixel camera that can record, would the record look good and sound good then??

its 4.1 MP and has a optical zoom
it takes great photos

yea im thinking of it, just need to get 169 more dollars into my bank account cause all my money is lying around my room...lol

imma also get a memory stick, its 30 dollars for a 128mb stick (ANY idea on how many pics that is?)

Get a canon. They have some of the better cameras on the market. I bought a 2mp canon elf s200 for my mom for xmas like 4 years ago and thats the one I still use and it works great. Im sure you can find one cheap now. It also does video and all that.

 

Don't get that HP, 3x optical zoom isn't very much and the video resolution is pathetic. I agree with MattJ, get a Canon, that's what I've got and even though it's only 3.2 MP it still takes really nice pictures and video up to 640x480, 30fps.

 

alright, well imma PROLLY go to best buy 2morrow and ill look around for a decent Canon camera

Good entry/midlevel camera, that's like a step above what I've got. Just make sure you buy at least a 128MB card for it if you're gonna be doing any videos.

 

yea,i wanna use the video part for prolly burnouts with friends...lol

 

Also make sure you turn off the digital zoom as soon as you get it.

 

im hoping to get it 2morrow, tho i cant take pics yet since car is still at the shop...
