One of my guys who helps out on my car has a 99 C5. He just put in a F-1C Procharger, He did over 700 HP at the wheels. I can't remember exact number, I wanna say 740, but IDK. He started it up for me, the thing whistles like NO OTHER. The car visually is bone stock except he's got factory 18x11 rims on rear. Also stock exhaust except headers.

EDIT: They're hoping to hit high 9's and I think it's possible.

dude....ANY corvette engine putting out over 600 hp to the WHEELS, has to be forced induction, otherwise the hp claim isnt true. Even ferrari engines reach a peak amount of hp they can reach by being non-turbo non-s/c. the ferrari enzo...super high compression...650 hp to the CRANK..which equals rwhp in the 500's. So if this engine is running over 600 to the wheels, the 0-60 time(with slicks, of course) should be well into the 2's, not 3.2. There's only so much hp you can compress naturally out of an engine til you need to resort to turbo or s/c.

And even if you COULD squeeze over 600rwhp into a street car, there is NOOOOOO way it'd stay street legal.

just my $0.02

completely possible...but just like the lingenfelter vette engine isnt even a corvette engine, if that zr-1 got so modified that it put over 600 to the wheels, I don't think you could even call it a zr1 or even a corvette engine for that matter. Still awesome, I give mad props, but with the money he probably put into it to give it that hp, you could make ANY car powerful

SPeaking of fast cars, a guy here at work has a 57 Bel Air that is putting 524hp/575tq at the wheels with no forced induction or bottle. He completly blueprinted the engine himself. It's a 406 block, and the people who actually built the engine actually sell it now as a crate moror! lol, I told him to send me some pics of the car. He's never ran a 1/4 with it, just shows it (and usually wins)
