Default CD Player

OK, here's the deal. I have a Pioneer DEH P3500 that I installed in my Mustang not too long ago. Recently, I got a Clarion CDC635 6-disc changer for free from a relative. They also have the FMC100 CD Changer Controller with it. The controller has a cheap-looking display with buttons for changing discs and tracks. I think it shows in the directions that it is possible to hook it up to the head unit without using the controller. But, I also think you have to buy a separate piece to install it that way. Now I know that someone isn't going to be able to tell me exactly what to do here, but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Basically, what I am wanting to do is hook the Clarion 6-disc changer up to my Pioneer head unit without using the display that came with the Clarion and without buying anything extra. Would anyone know if this is even possible?
