i say white rims too man, i think it would look sweet like that. dont put black rims on unless you have a lot of other black accents or it will look stupid imo

 

Don't get white rims that would give you no contrast in your car. Just cough up the extra cash and get the chrome ones.

 

Yeah if you want a color contrast go black, Those looks nice, Otherwise stay Chrome for a brighter color...

I said in the thread that I didn't know how to make a poll.

As for everything else, I'll try to cover.
Taillights are going and stock will have blackout tint, so there is some more black there.
Headlights are going and clear corners with HID are going in. (I know of the problems with HIDs and am taking care of them, please nothing on HIDs, this thread is for my rims)
There is tinted windows so there is more black there.
The ONLY "shiny" things on the car is the SS Saleen inserts on rear bumper and exhaust tips.

I'm not too fond of the Black Saleen Rims, because it's ALL black, adding the tires and my black brake calipers just add to much black here.
I like the thought of white rims, somethign different.
I love chrome, but have had two sets of chrome and they're just a pain to keep clean, and keep from pitting.
I'm thinking of making a complete saleen replica, badges/emblems on the way
Also, I'm doing a Saleen spoiler eventually.
I know I just said i want a replica, but if I did do black, I would do the fr500 black, the polish lip would be a nice offset to all the black.

I kinda like the white too, and I don't mean to sound arrogant, but they look good on that white GT, but I think they would look even better on mine. Reason being is I'll have a lil more black on the car, ex: smoked headlights, saleen decal on the doors, tinted windows, smoked taillights, and all the meshing that is with the Saleen Body kit is all black as well.

 

check out this comparison I just now did with my program that I made. The white clearly stands out as there wont be a chrome/white lip on the black saleens to differentiate it. I say go white.

 

anyway of making those windows black and the taillights black?
